The story of how Bundy got its groove back is an awesome one, but equally interesting are the grounds themselves.
Located in Bundaberg in Queensland, the distillery is notable for the fact that it is a community based industry. The sugar is grown and milled in Bundaberg, refined at the sugar mill across the road, and the byproduct molasses is shipped to Bundy Rum via underground tubes.
Waste from the distilling process is even recycled in Bundaberg, sent to local farmers for free as a fertiliser for the next season’s crops.
